What are acupuncture needles like?

The thought of needles is unpleasant for some, so the idea of acupuncture can feel like a no-go treatment. That said, those who come for acupuncture and are worried about the needles, most often ask 'was that it?' The needles themselves are usually between an 8th and a quarter of a millimeter thick, and although we can't guarantee you won't feel anything at all, the sensation isn't unpleasant and often accompanied by a sense of relaxation. In the following video, I explain more and show the process of inserting a needle.
